Obituary for Catherine A Frick

Catherine A. Frick

Age 69, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 15, 2009.

Cathy retired from Poppitti Law Firm with over 40 years of service as a legal secretary.

She was a life member of the Wilmington Turners Club and spent many years dedicated to the administrative duties of the club. She enjoyed Sunday afternoon football with her many dear friends from the Turners Club. She loved being with her grandchildren and dog Chloe. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading, traveling with her husband, and trips to Delaware Park.

She is the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Catherine R. (Igle) Miller, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Frick who died in 2004; her daughter, Christine; and her sister Constance. She is survived by her sisters and their husbands, Amy Minotti and Joe, Joan Hoffmaster and Dave, Sally Maccarone and Joe, Rebecca Gebhart and Charles, Mary Flanigan and Frank; her granddaughter Kelly Brainard and Eddie Malascalza; her great grandsons, Jeremy and Brody; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Delaware Veterans Memorial Chapel on Thursday morning, November 19th at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Wednesday evening November 18th from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
