Jeanne Marie Smith (Kulp) age 77, of Wilmington, DE passed away at home on Sunday, June 17, 2018 surrounded by her loving children.
Jeanne was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Andrew Kulp and Marguerite (McHugh) Kulp. She graduated from Bishop Neumann Business School in 1957 and enjoyed raising a family and working as a warranty specialist at various car dealerships in the region.
Jeanne took great pride in raising her three children and spending time with her five grandchildren. She enjoyed several hobbies over the years including sewing, stained glass, painting, and decorating. She especially enjoyed summers at the beach with her family - fishing, crabbing, and entertaining. Jeanne will especially be remembered for being a selfless, strong, and caring woman who was always willing to help her friends and neighbors.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Whitman Smith; parents, Andrew Kulp and Marguerite (McHugh) Kulp; her brother, James Kulp; and her sisters, Marguerite Yeager, and Barbara Turotsy.
She is survived by her three children, son, Drew Smith and his wife Julie; her daughter, Lori Seel and her husband Eric; her daughter, Kristin Stolp and husband Bart; and her five grandchildren, Collin, Allison, Alexandra, Arden, and Kaitlyn. She is also survived by her siblings, Joseph Kulp, Mary Minch, and Grace Ford; and her many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
Services will be private.
