Robert "Bobby"  Williams Jr.
Robert “Bobby” Williams, Jr., age 50, passed away on February 13, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, after having fought a brief battle with cancer. He was courageous until the end.
Bobby was born December 17, 1967 to Linda and Robert “Bob” Williams. He was raised in New Castle, Delaware with his two sisters.
After school, he learned the construction and masonry trade from his father. They worked side by side for several years. Bobby went on to work for other residential construction companies until his recent illness. He had a love of racecars and worked for Cecil County Dragway for the past five years.
Bobby lived life through simple pleasures. Music, playing his guitar, racecars, and tastykakes. He was an accomplished carpenter and enjoyed woodworking and home improvement projects.
Bobby had a rough exterior but was a very kind and gentle soul. He was devoted to his girlfriend of eight years, Susan Steinman. They resided together in Chesapeake City, Maryland.
Bobby was preceded in death by his daughter Brandie Kelly, and his son Joshua Williams.
He is survived by his parents, Linda and Robert Williams, Sr.; sisters, Christina Ham (John), and Barbara Cecelia (Lou); daughter, Ashley Williams; sons, Robert and Brandon Williams; stepson, Brandon Johnson; and his grandchildren, Brooklynne, and Robert Williams, all of New Castle, DE
Funeral Services are private.
A memorial in Bobby’s honor will be held on April 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Cecil County Dragway, 1916 Theodore Rd., Rising Sun, MD 21911
