Obituary for William C. "Bill" Bryan

William Carl Bryan
Age 65 of Wilmington
Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 30, 2018.
Bill was a self-employed business owner. He owned and operated several different car dealerships and auto salvage shops over the years.
Bill loved playing golf and shooting pool. He was an amateur karaoke singer and enjoyed belting out the great hits of Elvis, Frank Sinatra, and Garth Brooks. Bill’s favorite pastime was boating. Some of his most treasured memories where spent on the Bohemia and Sassafrass River. Bill was most proud of his athletic ability. He was the state champion in pole vaulting and his record stood for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Sonia “Fey” (Brown) Bryan.
Bill will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 18 years, Melanie Bryan; his brothers, Charles R. Bryan and Roy M. Bryan (Glenda); his step daughters, Karen Stech (Don) and Korrine Muntz (Richard); his grandchildren, Mateo, Sabrina, and Chloé; his sisters-in-law, Mitzie, /Cheryl, an d Rebecca; and many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service for Bill at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805, on Friday, May 4 at 12:00 noon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00am-12:00noon, Intement will take place in Silverbrook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made in Bill’s name to Heartland Hospice, 256 Chapman Rd., Suite 102, Newark, DE 19702.
